Up a little late today due to late night conversation with two older girls.
Bible - continuing on with 2 Samuel - story of David
Read Aloud - Lassie Come Home
Priscilla reads aloud to Annalise (currently Ginger Pye) and then listens to her read. She is reading through the first grade set of Pathway readers and she also reads aloud from the various picture books.
Math - Math U See for boys and Teaching Textbooks for girls
Science - Kezzi and Hope worked on their science notebooks (Bird Biology & Apologia Biology respectively) and I read part of chapter 2 of Apologia's Swimming Creatures to the boys. Then we followed the links in the course website to listen to the songs of whales.
Reading Time - each child spends time reading from their own booklist
Lunch while watching Jacques Costeau on our DVD from netflix
History reading and Historical Fiction (currently The Golden Goblet) - Kezzi did some history reading on her own from the book Hiroshima
Tea Time - or actually hot mochas with Mozart, Mad Libs, and writing in their nature journals about the cardinal they found yesterday.

The girls and I went to church tonight for a women's gathering. Dinner, fellowship, a speaker and discussion time. I love that different people speak each month and you get a chance to spend time discussing the message with the women at your table. One of the scriptures that was shared just happen to be part of our memory verse this week - Ephesians 6:10-12.

I use apologia too. Good stuff, but rough tests. I'm halfway thru module 9

We don't use the tests with our Apologia but instead we make notebook pages along the way, demonstrating the material covered with illustrations and written narrations or copywork.
