Up late today, recovering from THE BIRTHDAY and our late bedtime last night. And our day is cut short by our nieces and nephews arriving to stay with us today before going to Grandma and Grandpa's because of their parents leaving for a funeral in another state. Added to all of this, we needed to do some housecleaning in preparation for some house guests this weekend.

Math - regular math today: MUS and TT
Reading - Abel - Mark Twain, Luke - Toliver's Secret, Hope -Daughter of the Land , Kezzi - health book
Science - watched The Blue Planet Deep Ocean DVD
Luke spent some sweet time with his cousin Lily, entertaining her with drawing-on-command, sharks and aligators attacking people and such. They both had a great time. When she started talking about wanting to go to Grandma's he told her he didn't want her to go, he wanted her to stay here. This really touched me, especially coming from Mr. Little Macho Man himself. Abel also played nicely with all of the younger children, keeping them entertained all afternoon.
Three of the girls had an art class tonight. It's wonderful to see them inspired to try new things.
